Building 285, Weiwuying

Three films hand-picked by acclaimed critics and dialogues after the screening, will most likely shed new light to your view on the interpretations.
Locke(2013), winner of Best Screenplay at British Indepent Awards and Best Actor at Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award, takes place over just one night, as seen by one man inside one car. All the lines and performances were improvised by Tom Hardy as if this were a one-act theatrical play.
Birdman(2014), four Oscar-winners including Best Motion Picture, is characterized by award winning Director Alejandro González Iñárritu's use of long takes. We see how a stage performance of Macbeth, is integrated into the surreal life events of an actor, played by Michael Keaton.
Romeo + Juliet(1996) is a contemporary interpretation of Shakespeare's classic, and iconic remake of the play. We see how Leonardo DiCaprio interpreted his character in this classic tragedy. We also see how Director Baz Luhrmann represents that famous balcony scene with Claire Danes.
